Djinane AlSuwayeh grew up in a household that was a concoction of cultures; French and Kuwaiti, Christian and Muslim, European and Middle Eastern. Djinane was born and lived her artistic education in France; a cultural and artistic hub, boasting one of the world’s most creatively experimental capitals and yet was raised in Kuwait what is considered to be a late developing nation, with a sleepy and stagnant Fine Arts sector. Histoires Urbaines is a juxtaposed series of portraits of a city that inspired Djinane's creative process.
By observing people's lives, social perspectives and personal values, photographer found that people’s subjective consciousness often influence their judgment. Therefore, they would like to subvert viewpoints with the work, in order to present the different side of it. Just like this artwork, the photographer created a new scene and new meaning is given to the toilet seat. By doing so, the photographer wants to convey the idea that external value of an entity doesn't mean everything.
Yasumichi Morita's first photo exhibition was held in Paris. The project was designed to create engaging photographs of selected AMG Mercedes Benz models within time restrictions and confined non-studio-like location with the goal of emphasizing car design, aesthetics and functional features using lighting and framing as creative photography tools. Being time effective while saving impeccable image look and quality was a first level priority for the photographer and his team. Refined lighting skills combined with high end professional tools have been essential assets for the final outcome delivering some 30 eye catching images in only 2 shooting days.
Parallel Universe… Is it really that hard to imagine? Another “Earth”? Throughout history, mankind has proven to be more self-destructive than constructive. This project is to illustrate the idea that somewhere there is a parallel universe, another human-like civilization, living in harmony with nature, and not using technology for personal gain. The visual objective was to mimic characteristics of renaissance paintings while illustrating a civilization from another world.
Personal project developing two visionary scenes as pictured in the mind of photographer then bringing them up to real scenes, lighting subjects accordingly with original vision and working real things in order to create final photographs. Focused on lighting tools for professionals this project is about photographer's vision and how he creates dreamy images working with real assets and talents through high refined lighting techniques and state of the art photography.
